Heather is the (remote) invited seminar speaker at the Department of Biology at the University of Toronto at Mississauga today. She will update everyone on the recent research from the lab and join the graduate students for a virtual lunch.

Most of the McFarLab is travelling to St. Catherines this weekend for the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists’ Eastern Regional Meeting at Brock University. Heather and Eduardo will present posters (P29 & P38) and Natalie will give a talk on her MSc project: “Setting the stage for lignin deposition: spatial distribution and anchoring of enzymes directing lignification in Arabidopsis” at 11:25-11:40 in AS203. See you at Plant Canada
Heather is travelling to the University of Guelph this week to join the Plant Canada Meeting. She will present a research talk in the cell biology session and co-host a workshop (with Jacqui Monaghan) for students and postdocs on finding their next position in academia.
